"Corey Shank, she is an American powerhouse performer", Stuttgarter Zeitung, who wasn’t able to find work in her own country... So, I packed my bags in Los Angeles, California and travelled to Europe. That was a few years ago... ;-)

Having landed on foreign soil, I have been harassing Europeans ever since. I started my own theatre improvisational company in Amsterdam, Downstage West: Together with 4 very talented American actors. That fabulous combination led to two original comedy sketch shows: "Lost in Translation" and "Lost in Translation 2: Still Lost" (*Yes, we had that name before the film with Bill Murray).

After touring with that show for a year, the Holland Casino in Amsterdam then hired me/us to create a dinner show for their Lido Paris Show called "Passion". This is where the character Madame Mildred Pierce was created.

This show then led me to Germany to perform in the original Mother of Dinner Shows: "Pomp, Duck and Circumstance". There the character Sophie Clutch, Cleaning Lady was born. After performing for three amazing years - in Munich, Berlin, New York City and Atlanta/Georgia, I headed back to Europe.

Since then, I have been perfoming, writing and creating shows for Palazzo, the wonderful, crazy, wacky leader of the "Spiegelzelt" dinner shows. For over 10 years, I have written shows, created concepts for Palazzo - plus new characters like Doris Rottweiler and Roxy Malone in the following cities: Stuttgart, Nurnberg, Munich, Berlin, Vienna/Austria and Hamburg. Just to name a few...

At the same time, I have been lucky enough to perform in over 500 Galas for different companies large and small. Creating my own characters for each party or company in my own unique style of improvisational comedy craziness and song. Anyway, that’s about the whole story... just know I am damn lucky to get paid to do the job I love.
